Switzerland - Lausanne

by Kimp 31. January 2018 17:51
Lausanne is the capital of International Sports and yet another beautiful Swiss city. Surrounded by vineyards, French speaking and located on the Swiss plateau, a high ground, between the Alps and the Jura Mountains. It slopes down a steep incline, to share a pleasant shoreline with Lake Geneva. Peace, serenity, and a love of sports, pretty much describe all that is Lausanne. [More]

Lugano is a favorite of celebrities and sports figures because it's off the beaten path and relaxing for them. Lake Lugano is a glacial lake nestled between the Northern Italian glacial lakes named Como and Maggiore and is home to the largest net of Mountain Biking Trails in Switzerland. [More]

Switzerland - Zurich

by Kimp 18. January 2013 05:49
The Zurich driving experience, should be a ride at Disney world. It is by far, the most complicated place I have ever driven. It has characteristics similar to driving in a video game. Very narrow streets, dense traffic, and lots of people riding bikes near the road. Dense parked traffic on the sides of the road trying to get on the road. Lots of people on foot. Lots of beautiful distracting women on foot (places with high incomes seem to attract beautiful women). [More]

Switzerland - Matterhorn

by Kimp 16. September 2012 00:48
The Matterhorn isn't the highest mountain in Europe nor even the highest in Switzerland. However it has one of the most unique shapes, so it is easy recognizable. It kind of looks like a Pyramid and each face of it, faces a due direction. [More]

Switzerland - Scharnachtal

by Kimp 7. September 2012 04:55
Switzerland has several levels of hiking. Much of Switzerland's easy hiking is composed of walking up people's asphalt driveways. Instead of building roads up in the mountain's what they did was: One person would build a long drive way to their house, then the next person would build onto the first persons driveway, and so on, and so on. Its a one lane driveway that goes behind someones house then keeps going to the next house, winding and getting higher and higher. [More]
