The smell of wine mulling, chestnuts roasting, and gingerbread baking. The taste of Original Nurenburger Sausage hot off the grill and the sight of hand painted Christmas Ornaments. Christmas is just around the corner and I am one of the 2,000,000 people who will visit Nurenburg this year, to partake of the atmosphere and meander through the 180 spruce stalls of German handcrafted goodness. The largest and most visited Christkindlesmarket (Christ Childs Market) in Germany. Besides German crafts, vendors from several countries, rent booths to pedle their wares. It starts on the Friday before the first Sunday in Advent and goes until Dec 24th, unless that is on a Sunday.

Lugano is a favorite of celebrities and sports figures because it's off the beaten path and relaxing for them. Lake Lugano is a glacial lake nestled between the Northern Italian glacial lakes named Como and Maggiore and is home to the largest net of Mountain Biking Trails in Switzerland.

The San Fermin Festival is often called "Running with the Bulls". It was made popular when Ernest Hemingway visited and wrote about in his 1925 Novel "The Sun Also Rises".
Now it has grown to about 1,000,000 people visiting this festival every year.
