Norway's interior is beautiful, pristine and relaxing.
Rich in oil, light in population and therefore very wealthy, it's very expensive to foreigners (about 2x more compared to the United States).
They have lots of Hydro-Electric power and minerals as well.
Norway remained independent of both the European Union, and OPEC. This allows them to make their own decisions and have full control of their destiny.
The government very successfully invests the excess wealth, heavily in the market. Some other countries taking notice and are trying to follow their lead.
